Where to Play
Southeast Clarke Park
Southeast Clarke Park, 4440 Lexington Road, has six dedicated outdoor pickleball courts with permanent nets. Park hours are 8 a.m. to sunset.
Aaron Heard Park
Athens Area Pickleball Association lists free indoor play at Aaron Heard Park, 400 McKinley Drive, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
YWCO
YWCO, 562 Research Drive, reserves its gym for pickleball Monday through Thursday from 1 to 3:30 p.m., Friday from 2 to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Members play free; a day guest pass is $10.
